International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes (IATSE)

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories and Canada (IATSE) was originally chartered by the American Federation of Labor as the National Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes in 1893. The IATSE represents workers throughout the United States and Canada in various aspects of the entertainment industry including motion picture and television production; motion picture exhibition; legitimate theatre and other stage productions including musicals, dramas, ballet, opera, concerts; product demonstration and industrial shows; conventions; casinos; audio visual; computer graphics and a number of other areas of the industry.
